About Manny
“I’m a firm believer that tattooing can serve as a powerful tool for reclaiming one’s body and identity. Through a trauma-informed lens, I focus on post-mastectomy scar cover-ups and black-and-gray realism that transforms physical reminders into empowering works of art. My mission is to create a nurturing environment where trust, communication, and your comfort come first.”

FAQ
- Where are you located?
- I currently work out of Chicago, IL. About 1 mile from Wrigley Field.
- Do you do consultations?
- Yes, I prefer to do in-person consultations, but I also offer Zoom consultations.
- What is your deposit policy?
- Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a new date or another client if at least two weeks’ notice is given. A minimum of 14 days’ notice is required to reschedule or postpone an appointment. Your deposit will go toward the final cost of your tattoo. Rescheduling or canceling with less than two weeks’ notice will forfeit the deposit, and a new deposit will be required to book again.
- What can I do to prepare for my tattoo?
- Make sure to get a good night’s sleep, drink lots of water, and have a good meal before your appointment. If you have a longer tattoo session, feel free to bring snacks and water. Headphones and a charged device are also great ideas to keep you occupied. Please also avoid alcohol 24 hours before your tattoo - alcohol thins the blood significantly, and can affect the tattoo process the following day often resulting in less-than-ideal heal.
- Can I apply numbing cream before my tattoo session?
- Please do NOT apply any numbing cream before your appointment. If you have a numbing cream in mind please bring it with you to your session.
- Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?
- Yes. You can bring one person with you to your appointment. While I generally ask clients not to bring multiple people to their tattoo session to maintain a calm, focused environment, there are a few exceptions. Please reach out to talk about details.
