About Gali

I’m a hand poke tattoo artist specializing in bold outlines and vintage-inspired designs, influenced by historical French and Russian tattoo traditions. My work blends nostalgia, rebellion, and artistry — bringing timeless flash designs and custom concepts to life without a machine. I’ve worked in 30+ tattoo shops across Europe, Asia, South America, and the U.S., including guest spots at renowned studios and appearances at major tattoo conventions. Currently based in Long Beach, California, I work at Outer Limits Tattoo — the oldest operating tattoo shop in the United States. My goal is to create tattoos that feel both personal and enduring, while offering clients a calm, intentional experience unique to the hand poke method that heals faster and is more gentle way of tattooing

FAQ

Do you do custom designs?
Yes — I am always happy to bring your idea to life if that works in my style. All work is done in my signature hand poke style.
Do hand poke tattoos hurt less?
Yes — people find it gentler and easier to sit through than a machine, but everyone’s experience is unique.
Do hand poke tattoos last?
Yes — with proper aftercare, they last just as long as machine tattoos (your whole life and even a bit longer)
Do you travel for guest spots?
Yes — I’ve worked in over 30 tattoo shops worldwide. You can join the waitlist for your city through my booking form.
How do I care for my hand poked tattoo?
Healing is similar to a machine tattoo but usually a bit quicker. I’ll normally cover it with second skin, which you’ll keep on for 3–4 days. After removing, wash gently with unscented soap, pat dry, and apply a thin layer of lotion or ointment ( I provide a list of recommended brands). Avoid soaking, swimming, or direct sun for at least 3 weeks. Don’t scratch or pick — let it peel naturally.
Does hand poke take longer?
No — my style is efficient because of the technique I’ve developed. In most cases, sessions take about the same time as machine tattoos, sometimes even less. You still get the same bold, lasting result without the extra hours in the chair.
Where are you based?
I work out of Outer Limits Tattoo in Long Beach, Ca — the oldest operating tattoo shop and museum. Come not just for a great tattoo but for the whole experience!
