About Skye
If you couldn’t tell from my studio’s name (Dichotomy Tattoo), I’m a lifelong multidisciplinary artist that loves exploring concepts beyond face value. The promise that I get to bridge people’s stories, personalities and experiences to their skin was the thing that ultimately drew me to tattooing (pun intended). My main focus as a tattoo artist is to provide a supportive space for individuals to feel more connected, confident and excited about the future; by adding beautiful reminders to their skin that will carry them through. I’m currently based in Utah, though I have ping-ponged around the US for most of my life, living in Connecticut, California, New York, and Montana. My dichotomous style came from enjoying both the captivating respite of rural areas and the musical structure of densely populated areas and craving a style that could blend those elements together. My artist journey began as a horse-obsessed toddler that just wanted to see a horse drawn “just right” (whatever that means)— and the rest is history. When I’m not tattooing, I’m painting, writing, sculpting, or crocheting. And when I’m not arting, I can be found snuggling my pets, watching movies, reading books, obsessing over stories that often go untold, sociology, enjoying the outdoors, and playing Assassin’s Creed.
